Bayonne : here you can admire the Basque architecture in the centre of Bayonne and Petit Bayonne, and enjoy the ferias (street festivals) in August.
Biarritz : the Rocher de la Vierge, the Sea Museum.
For some fresh mountain air, head for Larrun. Enjoy a great hike if you are feeling fit or take the sightseeing train up to the summit overlooking the Basque coast.
Espelette : see the façades of the houses where the famous Espelette peppers are dried.
Saint Jean de Luz : the shops and fishing port.
Saint Jean Pied de Port : a fortified citadel and a stage on the Way of St James in the Basque Pyrenees.
